The Vietnam War

I am amazed that you never mentioned that it was the end of the Vietnam war and the return of the POWs that made the song and the yellow ribbon popular. you mentioned 3 million records sold in a short time in the spring of 73 with no attribution of the cause. but you give credit to others who had virtually nothing to do with the large popularity of the song which led to the yellow ribbons. was that out of ignorance or just pure hate for the military? Sorry journalism in either case.
