Song of the Mountains, Marion Virginia

Song of the Mountains showcases the best talents in bluegrass and old-time music from the heart of the region where it all began! Live concerts are held monthly at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia with many shows videotaped for the award winning Television Series which can be seen on public television affiliates throughout the country. The Annual 3-Day Festival occurs each summer at the Davis Valley Winery.

UNC-TV is Song of the Mountains' official production partner. The station went on the air January 8, 1955, broadcasting as educational television station UNC-TV in Chapel Hill. Today, UNC-TV is an 22-station network licensed to the University of North Carolina that provides statewide analog and digital television service.
