Music Affects Plant Growth

I did a STEM Expo project on how music affects plant growth. While one plant grew with heavy metal music and the other with classical. I will post my results here:

Started: Febuary 3/2010
Classical Plants - 19cm(yellow) , 27.5cm(pink).
Heavy Metal Plants - 20.5cm(yellow), 30.5cm(pink)
Within the first week the rock plants grew more but, are browning at the tips
of the leaves on the yellow flower. The classical is doing well with no brown and growing regularly.
After One Week: Feburary 9/2010
Classical Plants - 37.5cm(yellow), 43cm(pink)
Heavy Metal Plants - 38cm(yellow), 44cm(pink)

After two weeks, the rock plant started to fade, opening and closing its leaves faster. It started to lean further away from where the music came from. It browned more and the tulip eventually folded in half and died.

As for the classical it was still continuing on in its cycle and looking beautiful.
Compared to the heavy metal plant, it was looking remarkably healthier and nicer.

Of course this was only two weeks, and once. I would like to try it again some time, but my experiment proved your theory wrong.
