It was a sad sad day when Hank Williams Sr passed on. It was as if the heart had been torn out of the world. In 1953 I was just ten years old. I loved listening to his records and still do today.

He could make you cry when he sang some of his sad songs. Hank was the greatest singer of country music ever.
