Christa Renee is a singer/songwriter who draws on her Caribbean roots and soulful grooves to produce music that is from the heart and hits on the dance floor. She works with a seasoned group of musicians, tailoring her shows to each venue, performing as a duo, trio, quartet or as a five-piece band. Christa Renee Band is a blend of reggae, groove and rock with world undertones. They play both catchy original songs and re-tooled covers by artists ranging from MIA to the Cars.

Christa Renee Band plays a unique mix of reggae, soul, rock and dance rhythms set to memorable melodies and lyrics that range from the political, social to intimately personal. Christa Renee, the child of a Jamaican mother and American father, hails originally from NJ and put together this outfit out of a need to accentuate the strong world and dance rhythms at the heart of her songs.
