• Emmitt Smith and his dance partner, Cheryl Burke, were crowned the 2006 champion of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" on Wednesday, November 15th, 2006! 
Emmitt, a FIGHTIN' GATOR! (5'10" - 216 pounds), was born in 1969 in Pensacola, FL. He is UF's all-time leading rusher in yards per game and retired in 2005 as the NFL's all-time leader in rushing yards (18,355) and rushing touchdowns (164). He was the Dallas Cowboy's pick (17th) in the 1st round of the 1990 NFL draft.
