Dancing with the Enemy—Wake Up America
by DA Jack HayfordWake up America. What's wrong with this picture? The President, OUR PRESIDENT, is shown on TV and the Internet, all over the world, looking like a mental retard. Sword thrown over his shoulder, mindless grin, swaying arm and arm with his host, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. The King is the rich kid throwing a party. The neighborhood retard, whose family pays the rich kid's family ZILLIONS just to be his friend, is granted a request. "May I have some more oil, please?" I saw Glenn Beck on CNN who said, among other things, that Saudi Arabia is our enemy, whether we know it or not. I almost agree with Beck. But it is not Saudi Arabia that is our enemy. It is OIL. Our dependence on oil. The ruination of our economy AND our environment is due to our complete dependence on foreign oil. We are enslaved. Everybody knows it but no one dares say it. We need a JFK. We need someone with a plan and the guts to do what they say they will do. And what we need to do most urgently is GET OFF OIL. That's our moon shot people...or we get left behind. There are already in existence ALL of the ingredients required to immediately break free from the oil cartel. We already know how to make cars that run on gasoline AND ALCOHOL DERIVATIVES. We can make our own alcohol in many ways, including but not limited to farming. If we make cars that will burn the new fuels, the fuels will be supplied by the free marketplace. It's a multi-trillion dollar market. But this is where we need JFK to say, "we are getting off oil before the end of the next decade and we are immediately beginning to fuel our automobiles with alternative fuels. All cars sold in the USA beginning January 2009 will be flex-fuel capable and run on EITHER gasoline or an alcohol." The next president must immediately MANDATE THE DEVELOPMENT AND SALE OF FLEX FUEL CARS. This will put the auto-industry back to work. This will put farmers back to work. This will put creativity in the marketplace back to work. This will allow us to use the billions of dollars being raked in by the oil cartel (and used to buy up our country) to FIX OUR COUNTRY: our bridges and roads, our health care system, our security issues. The answer is as plain as the smirk on King Abdullah's face. WE MUST GET OFF OIL NOW. We can and must make that commitment. Wake up America. Winning the War on Terror by Breaking Free of Oil  |
