Chief Kamachi, "Chuck D" single and video release, Tuesday, July 5, 2011
The video for “Chuck D,” the first single from Noize Gallery Music artist Chief Kamachi’s new album, “Rise and Rhyme Vol. 1” will be released Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
Chief Kamachi has been on the grind, delivering commanding verses on wax since the late 1990s, beginning with features and collaborations with The Last Emperor, Jedi Mind Tricks, AG, Sway & Tech, and many more. Kamachi has been taking full advantage of any and every opportunity to record. He’s also a member of East Coast super group, Army Of The Pharaohs, and frontman of his own super group The JuJu Mob. After releasing countless singles, and cameos, Kamachi finally released his debut solo album - Cult Status - in 2004, blazing the underground with the single “The Best” featuring The Legendary Guru. Afterwards, Kamachi and The JuJu Mob released Black Candles, inspired by the relentless approach of Golden Era legends. In 2010, he released The Clock of Destiny.
Kamachi’s new album, Rise and Rhyme, Vol. 1 is set to be released later this year. It is the first of a seven album series by indie music’s top artist.
His previous solo albums are Cult Status (2004), Concrete Gospel (2006), and The Clock of Destiny (2010).
